Famous motorcar Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’ banned from procession

The motorcar of the 1968 movie “Chitty Chitty Bang Bang” was banned from a parade in Norwich, England — because the 50-year-old car doesn’t have an inspection sticker.

“It proved too difficult to get the necessary permission and insure the car,” parade official John Bultitude said. “It would have been easier if Chitty really did fly, as a pilot’s license only takes 45 hours to obtain.”
